Fulfillment: E-Mail Notification, Tracking, &
Delivery Confirmation
Have your packages or orders made their final destination? Do you need to decrease your customer service calls concerning the whereabouts of packages? MicahTek has initiated three new product fulfillment services that will reduce the number of customer service inquiries, track where your packages are, and verify the delivery of those packages. These services are E-mail Notification, Tracking, and Delivery Confirmation™.
- E-mail Notification:
MicahTek is pleased to offer E-mail Notification for orders
shipped from our Fulfillment Center. An e-mail is sent to your customer for each package shipped including the ship date with a link for
your customer to follow the order through the shipping process. Your customers will have the gratification of knowing what they ordered
will be shipped expeditiously and they will have notification of when to expect to receive their shipment. This e-mail notification can
include any text and graphics you choose and would be an excellent opportunity for you to advertise for future events, conferences and special
product offers.
- Tracking:
Tracking information provides the sender with online details of the item as it is en route to its destination.
Tracking services provide detailed information as the item is scanned at acceptance, as it travels, and when it is delivered.
Express Mail®, Global Express Guaranteed® and Global Express Mail™ (depending on destination country) are the only services
within USPS that provide tracking and they must be purchased when the item is mailed. All orders using FedEx or UPS will use the tracking and confirmations already made available through these parcel carriers.
- Delivery Confirmation™:
This type of service is designed to be a low cost alternative to full tracking. Instead of seeing the acceptance information and updated scans as the item is en route, delivery confirmation services provide assurance of delivery or of attempted delivery.
MicahTek has added a new parcel Delivery Confirmation™ service for all Priority Mail® shipments at no additional cost. Using a new dedicated USPS package tracking system, the parcel’s status is recorded at the time of delivery and confirmed for your protection. Shipping confirmations are accessible from the USPS through the Internet, telephone, or via electronic transfer. All orders using FedEx or UPS will use the tracking and confirmations already made available through these parcel carriers.
